Story Time

About a month ago, I went to the beach. A quick getaway.

When I suffered from depression, the sound of the ocean waves were the only thing that could put me to sleep. I am celebrating 3 years of dileverance from depression, thank you Jesus.

It’s a lovely place to be and to clear your mind.

I place my feet in the ocean just below my knees. As the waves collapse against me, it attacks my pain. Whether it’s fear, concerns, fustraction or worry. When it retrieves back into the ocean, it’s takes all of that away and repeats.

How I see it is God created the ocean. He does that for me everyday when I cast my cares unto Him.

Sometimes it’s nice to have a visual of what He already does in the natural and spirit.

But I hate walking in the sand. It’s not a pleasant feeling to me. It’s the only way to get to my prize. I could easily have someone carry me but that’s the easy way out. Pretty much cheating.

Process- a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.

God pointed out to me that I have a problem with going through a process.

Yes I placed my cares on Him but I may not see the results immediately, doesn’t mean it isn’t already done and worked out.

With process comes patience.

Patience- the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

Patience to not operate by sight but by faith. Patience to hold on to His promise no matter how long it may seem. Trust God’s timing.

With process you need persistence.

Persistence- continuing firmly or obstinately in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

Dont quit, don’t give up, don’t lose faith, keep going, give it all you got.

“For we live by faith, not by sight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

1 Peter 4:13
