Patience
Hello, it is your favorite day of the week,
Regarding patience, have you ever felt like you should have what you want, when you want it? Like it should fall out the sky when you think about it? Have you ever gone off because people did not know how to pay attention and drive when the light turns green? How about waiting for that perfect job? Or, even the people around you should just get right when you want them to get right? Listen, I was once that person, and I know all about it.
There is so much I could tell you about what I did not have patience with.
With or without
Without patience, I would snap on everyone. I was frustrated with things when they did not go my way. Sometimes, I even gave up on what I was waiting for.
When I have patience, I am much calmer and I allow myself to trust the process. This strengthens me all around because at the end of the day, it was going to happen and it was going to get done. I will receive whatever I was waiting for, eventually.
Picture this
They say patience is a virtue. What does that even mean? It means the ability for something special to happen and to wait out a difficult period or a time full of trials and tribulations.
I have struggled tremendously with my patience. When it comes to my career, schooling, relationships, and even driving. (Why do people not know how to drive? Just go!) I have improved in some areas, but not in all. Nobody is perfect.
I used to get frustrated with not making enough money with my jobs and businesses. Being an entrepreneur and working full-time requires patience. The fluctuation of sales and clients can change like the wind until a steady flow comes about. What I did to improve this was make a priority to beat my previous goals. If I made 1 sale last week, I’d shoot for two the next week. If I had 10 clients last month, I would shoot for 20 the next month. I would do breathing exercises to calm myself down on the road to progression.
Remember to celebrate your growth, no matter if they’re big or small. If you notice you did not go off in the Walmart line, that is a win.
